It has been great having Morris back in town! He brought his grandpa back from DR so he went to his parent's house from the airport and I met him there. I hung out with his parents for a bit before he arrived and soaked up some love from Ginger. They spoiled me and gave me a very generous gift of beautiful diamond earrings. I think they might like me.
His mom made lamp chops, which I ate. Which was a very big deal for me. It was fine. I don't really think I like meat that much, so trying different kinds of meat isn't something I enjoy but I am working on expanding my palette. So far I am pretty proud of myself. I am eating things I never even knew existed last year and I think I've only had McDonald's 3 times since November.
Morris' great grandpa doesn't speak much English and I don't speak much Spanish. But he was very sweet and it was great to meet the man who Morris speaks so highly of. I am really glad to have him back home this week. Unfortunately, for me anyway, he leaves again on Friday. I close a few nights this week which means we won't have a whole lot of time together before he jet sets away again.
