Day 30: Downtown
Met with Tyler at WTC to see the 9/11 memorial today. I don't have much to say about it. The museum opens in 2012 so it's just the memorial fountain things, which I liked in pictures but in person felt really unsettling. The hole at the bottom is kind of frightening, you can't see where it goes and there's just something really unknown and dark about it. I don't know, I expected to feel more, and I'm sure when the museum opens it will be a different experience.
