Day 87: Anne Frank

I can't believe that The Diary of Anne Frank is so amazing. I had no idea. I thought it was important for obvious history reasons, I didn't realize it was such a rich piece of literature and a painting of a girl's transition into womanhood. It is an incredibly clear first hand account of an important time in history, a world altering time. The way her writing progressed was do beautiful as her soul deepened as well. I wish I would've read that as a 14 year old girl.

I also wish I would've waited in line to tour it in Amsterdam, but we got distracted and gave up. Next time.

I busser and server trailed today. It made me feel like an idiot.

M met me after work; he waited a long time in the cold snowy weather for me. We went to an Irish pub, forget the name but the food was yummy. M had duck sausage and mashed, which I did not eat, I had the burger dipped in franks hot sauce with Swiss cheese and ranch. Ohhhhhhh, yes.
