Afterwards we had lunch at a sandwich shop nearby called Tiny's Giant and went for a walk. We went in a few stores and ended up at Washington Square Park. It was a chilly day but surprisingly, welcomingly warm and we sat on the edge of the fountain people watching and dog watching while someone performed on a piano (?!) nearby. He went to get coffee and hot chocolate while I stayed and read in the sunshine.
That evening we went to his parents house, picked up Chinese takeout and watched the Oscars together.
