Today I was pleasantly suprpised when I walked outside and the sun was shining, the snow was melted, and the sidewalks were semi-dry. It really brings my fall risk factor down which I have been hyper aware of since my spill on the subway station stairs last week. Who would have thought that 43 degrees would give me reason to celebrate? I have to admit that winter is not as bad as I anticipated. Of course, it has been a pleasantly mild winter, but it is still worse than anything I had been exposed to as a born and raised Arizonan. I thought I would be the biggest baby, but when it's cold it's cold and plenty of people are complaining, so that makes me feel better.
