Day 36: I'll be home for Christmas

Today I go back home for the Holidays! But first, the search for Kinder Happy Hippos to share with the family!  It took six stores but I found those little fuckers.

I had an unordinary amount of fun on the ride to JFK because I got to ride the AirTrain, the train shuttle between the airport and the train station.  The AirTrain is like my favorite place because it is where I met Morris for the very first time when he helped Julie and I with directions.  I was full of butterflies and nostalgia thinking about how I mouthed to Julie when I first saw him "HE IS SO CUTE!" and how funny and perfect he was.

At the airport, which by the way I vote the worst for bathroom cleanliness, I had some extra time so I had a Captain & Diet with the other old men at the bar and got down on some Chicken Tortilla soup.

The plane ride seemed to take forever but I was lucky because the woman in my row was a lovely Irish woman and there was an empty seat between us which made it so much more comfortable.  Still not comfortable enough to sleep through my flight.  I should have had some Dramamine with that Captain.

It was so, so, so good to see my parents and give them hugs.  I miss them so much.  I definitely miss all the laughing and joking; I know I am lucky to consider both my parents some of my best friends.

Mom and Dad went in the house first and had me wait for a minute in the garage so they could see the dog's reaction when I came in. Yea, we are a little crazy maybe.  But it was awesome!  Bailey saw me first, I was kind of standing in the dark and he looked as confused as a dog can look as it took him a second before the tail wagging and whining ensued.  Sam heard me say hi to Bailey and started looking in every direction until he spotted me and I was showered with puppy kisses.  Love my boys so much!

This is where Morris asked me for my number. <3
